Single Shot or Multi-Shot?

When it comes to airsoft shotguns, there are two kinds of general types: Single shot and multi-shot. Those names are pretty self-explanatory, but just to clarify, the former can only fire one pellet per trigger pull, whereas the latter fires a burst of three or more BBs at the same time. This is more reminiscent of a real shotgun, and is also more effective in general. After all, if you are firing more shots per each pull, you have a greater chance of hitting the enemy. If that is the case, why would anyone want to go with a single shot shotgun? For one, they are still quite powerful, and less prone to jamming than a multi-shot. In addition, they are also much less expensive, so if you are trying to save money then these are perfect. It's up to you which choice you want to make, and if you want maximum effectiveness, then there's no doubt the multi-shot is right for you. And if you do want to go with that choice, the Tokyo Marui (TM) brand is your best bet. They are one of the most well known brands in airsoft and have made a name for themselves when it comes to multi-shot airsoft shotguns.
